Obituary of Patricia A. Drachenberg
Patricia A. (Cherpak) Drachenberg, 74, of Plainville, Connecticut, loving wife of the late Raymond Drachenberg, passed away on March 9, 2018 at the Jerome Home in New Britain after a brief illness.
She was born on July 30, 1943 in New Britain, Connecticut and was the daughter of the late Michael and Gertrude (Baran) Cherpak. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School.
Pat enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and her monthly trips to the casino with her sister. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Tracey Kinney and husband, Shane, of Rocky Hill; Tammy Carlson and husband Richard, of Kensington and her son, Todd Drachenberg, and his wife, Sonja, and her granddaughter, Faith, whom she adored. In addition to her children she leaves behind her sister Gail Krause, and husband Richard, of East Berlin; her goddaughter, Christine Richards, and several nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dear family friend Susan Benson.
PLEASE NOTE: Change in funeral arrangements. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday (March 14) at 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church 655 East St. New Britain. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery 120 Smalley St. New Britain. Visitation will be held Wednesday (March 14) from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mas at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church 655 East St. New Britain 06051 or to St. Jude Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Jerome Home for their excellent care and compassion.
