Obituary of Ernest C. Arciprete

 Ernest C. Arciprete, 93, of Fairfield, passed away peacefully Thursday (Feb. 1, 2018) at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield. Born in New York City, the son of the late Carlo and Vincenza (Fortuna) Arciprete, he lived many years on Long Island, NY moving to Fairfield, CT in 1966. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After the war he attended the University of Alabama, and was the owner of Greenskeeper Lawns in Fairfield for many years.

He is survived by his loving family, wife Eileen (Patrina) Arciprete, two daughters, Gail and her husband Vincent Pagano of New Britain, Diane and her husband Donald Latella of Easton, a son William Arciprete and his husband, Jason Hofmann of Stratford, five grandchildren, Vincent and Michael Pagano, Heather Latella, Elizabeth Roberts, and Ashley Carmo, three great-grandchildren, Mia, Holly and Violet and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Anthony, Joseph, and William Arciprete and three sisters, Angela Ferdinando, Theresa Gerson, and Margaret Carlucci. The family extends their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Cambridge Manor for their care of Ernest during his final years.

Funeral services will be held Friday (Feb.9, 2018) with a Memorial Mass at 11:30 AM at St. Paul Church 485 Alling St. Kensington, CT. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Pl  Memphis, TN  38105.
