Marjorie (Achenbach) Slaker, 92, of New Britain, died Tuesday (Aug. 29, 2017) at Cessenacare in New Britain. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Nellie (Poddock) Achenbach. She was the wife of the late Stephen Slaker. During her career, Marjorie was a jewelry designer.
Mrs. Slaker is survived by her granddaughter Heather Richard of New Britain and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Judith Richard.
