Robert C. “Snip”Snietka, 68, of Southington, died Tuesday March 21, 2017. Born in New Britain,the son of the late Stanley and Helen Snietka, he lived most of his life in Southington. He was employed for many years at Pratt & Whitney AerospaceCo. He was a member of The Faith Living Church in Southington, an avid airpistol enthusiast, enjoyed hiking and was a former member of the National Guard.
During his under graduate years he was involved with the Radio Station at Central Connecticut State University.Mr. Snietkais survived by his son, James Snietka of New Hartford, his daughter, Kristen Snietka of Southington and their mother, Karen Kristopik of Southington. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Snietka.
A Celebration of life will be held Wednesday (Mar. 29, 2017) at 6:30 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain. Burial will be private.
