Obituary of Andrea R. Pringle

Andrea R. (Rolzhausen) Pringle, 50, of Avon, wife of Thomas W. Pringle passed away with her family at her side, on Wednesday (Feb. 1, 2017). Born in Teaneck, NJ, the daughter of Richard and Theresa (Coyne) Rolzhausen, she lived most of her live in the Simsbury-Avon area. A graduate of Boston University with a degree in Occupational Therapy, she worked several years at the Emergency Room of St. Francis Hospital, Hartford and Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford. Later she headed up the Occupational Therapy Department at the McClean Home in Simsbury. Along with spending time with her family, and serving as president of the Cheshire Sea Dogs Swim Team, Andrea was a very active member of the Asylum Hill Congregational Church in Hartford. In addition to her husband and parents, Andrea is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Pringle and Laura Pringle of Avon, a sister Yvonne Rolzhausen and her husband James Mullarkey of Newton, MA; a brother-in- law, William G. Pringle and his wife Cheryl Pringle and numerous cousins and friends. A Memorial service will be held Saturday (Feb. 18, 2017) at 2:00 PM at the Asylum Hill Congregational Church 814 Asylum Ave. Hartford, CT. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours.
