Obituary of Agnes W. Kloss

Agnes W. (Strom) Kloss, 87, died Thursday (Nov. 17, 2016). Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Ames) Strom, she lived in Avon most of her life. She was the wife of the late John Kloss. Agnes was a trusted advisor and friend. She found joy in helping others in any way that she could. She loved music and had a beautiful singing voice which warmed the hearts of many.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by a sister Evelyn Nye, and two brothers, Charles Strom and George Strom. She was proud of her affectionate nickname, “Auntie Babe.”
Funeral services will be held Monday (Nov. 28, 2016) at 10:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gifts of Love, 35 East Main Street, Avon, CT 06001.
