From the first moment I met Al, I knew he was a special person. Right off the bat he hit me with a bit of his 'dry humor' and he had me hook, line and sinker! I had the privilege of meeting Al and Joyce through my parents when they built their house here in Tennessee, and over the past 5 years, they have become much more to me than just clients of my parents. Al would always poke fun at me and aggravate me, but i knew that was his way of being friendly. I developed a strong bond with them and still consider it to be strong to this day. He always made me laugh and I enjoyed great conversations with him over dinner with my parents. He was always interested in what I was doing and how work was going. If there is one thing i will always remember about my friend Al, is that he always encouraged me to work extremely hard and that he always seemed to have faith in me. I love him dearly and will miss him, but i will have all the wonderful memories to cherish in my heart forever. My prayers are with Joyce and the rest of the family. The world has truly lost an amazing person. Al's last words he ever spoke to me were I love you too", and that, i will remember forever.

I feel very blessed to have known Al for the past five years. I thoroughly enjoyed the time we shared together. Having been fortunate to be the builder of their new Tennessee Home our professional relationship grew into a wonderful friendship. Sheila and I will miss the quality times shared together over dinner and good conversations. Al was a very kind and compassionate man. My prayers and thoughts are with Ms Joyce and the entire family.
