Pauline (Lacasse) Whitney, 81 , of New Britain, died Sunday November 18, 2012 at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Henry and Albertine (Lizotte) Lacasse, she lived ten years in Southington, returning to New Britain a few years ago. She was a member of St. Peter Church. Mrs. Whitney is survived by her son Mark H. Whitney Sr. and his wife Alice, of Wareham, MA, a daughter Denise Whitney of New Britain, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two brothers Norman Lacasse of Bristol, Lionel Lacasse of Wareham, Ma; two sisters Evelyn Godbout of Fairhaven, MA, Lucille Roy of Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Whitney and her sister Yvette Cherpak. Funeral services will be held Saturday (Nov.24, 2012) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church 98 Franklin Sq. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the George Bray Cancer Center c/o the Hospital of Central CT, 100 Grand St. New Britain, CT 06050.
