Obituary of Linda Carver

Linda A. (Mangiafico) Carver, 61, formerly of New Britain, died Saturday (Oct. 8, 2016) at home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of Mona (Donnelly) Mangiafico and the late Paul Mangiafico , she lived most of her life in New Britain, moving to Plainville, a year ago. She was the beloved wife of Marc Carver. Linda was a graduate of New Britain High School and was a veteran, having served her country in the U.S. Navy. She was previously employed at City Hall of New Britain, in the Building Department. In addition to her husband and mother, Linda is survived by two daughters, Sarah Carver and her husband Tom Robertson of Wethersfield and Emily Carver of New Britain; two brothers, Paul Mangiafico and Peter Mangiafico, both of New Britain, a sister Laura and her husband Rick Lambert of West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday (Oct. 15, 2016) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
