Obituary of Olga M. Racksowa

Olga Mary Racksowa, 96, of New Britain, died at the Cessena Care in New Britain, on July 31, 2016. Born in Tewksberry, Mass, she was a longtime resident of New Britain. A New Britain High School graduate. She was employed at Andrews Furniture Store for many years and was also a retiree of the American Savings Bank. She was a former member of the Holy Cross Church, and the Holy Cross Ladies Guild, later joining St. Joseph's Church She was also a member of the A.A.R.P. Olga is survived by many friends, including Donald and his wife Gina Reney and Gloria Alfieri. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (Aug. 3, 2016) with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain at 10:00 A.M.. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Olga and her friends would like to thank the staff at Cessena Health Care for their care and attention to Olga.
