Real J. Bolduc, 71, of New Britain, beloved husband of Michelle (Boucher) Bolduc passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, July 5th. Real was born in Lyster, Quebec, Canada on July 19, 1944 and was the son of the late Alfred and Anais (Boissonneault) Bolduc. A New Britain resident since 1962, he graduated from Plainville High School and then graduated from business school as an accounting major. He had a successful professional career at Emhart and Loctite. He also served in the Air Force Reserve. He was very caring, enjoyed playing hockey throughout his life, and always the life of the party. In addition to his cherished wife of almost 49 years, Real is survived by his two brothers, Raymond Bolduc and wife Angele of New Britain; Laval Bolduc of Quebec Canada; and two sisters, Lucille Fillion and Rita Bolduc of Quebec Canada. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Denis and wife Louella Boucher; and three sisters-in-law, Nicole Evans, Danielle McNeil and husband Kevin, Christine Messina and husband Nicholas; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Leo, Maurice, Jean-Paul, and Benoit Bolduc; and a sister Irene Beaudoin all originally from Lyster, Quebec Canada. Friends and family may join us for a Memorial service at Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain between 9 and 11 am on Saturday, July 9, 2016 followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Church 98 Franklin Square New Britain, CT. Burial will be held privately. Members of the St. Peter's Society will meet Saturday at 10:15 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VITAS Healthcare, 628 Hebron Ave, Glastonbury, CT 06033.
