Lauren Mary Aiudi, 61, of New Britain, died Friday (May 13, 2016) at home. Born in New Britain, the daughter and first born child of Elmo and Elaine (Dupuis) Aiudi, she has been a resident of the C.C.A.R.C. Rocky Hill Group Home in New Britain for the past thirty years. She was a member of St. Maurice Church.
In addition to her parents, Lauren is survived by her brothers and sisters: Sandy, Steve, Dave, Pam, Chris, Janice and Alison and several nieces and nephews.
She was a beautiful child of God who taught her family about compassion, love beyond self, and the sanctity of human life.
Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday (May 18) at 12:00 noon at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Rd. New Britain. Entombment will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C.C.A.R.C., Inc. 950 Slater Road New Britain, CT 06053.
