OBITUARIES Irene (Langlois) Brochu, 87, widow of Emile Brochu, died Tuesday, (Oct. 5, 2004) at the Monsignor Bojnowski Manor in New Britain. Born in St. Raphael, Canada, she came to New Britain in 1939, and moved to Kensington in 1960. Prior to her retirement, was employed at the New Departure division of General Motors. She is survived by three sisters, Marie Anne Brochu of New Britain, and Simone Michaud and Rita Ringuet both of Canada, her sister-in-law, Edith Brochu of New Britain, her brother in law Herve Gosselin of New Britain and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated in St. Peter�s Church, 98 Franklin Sq., New Britain at 11 A.M. Entombment will be in St. Mary�s Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain, Saturday from 9 A.M. until departure for Mass. The family wishes to acknowledge with sincere appreciation and deep gratitude, the excellent and loving care given Irene while at the Monsignor Bojnowski Manor.
